Rigdon started in Memphis with Memphis Novelty Works when war broke out he began making buckles, buttons, knapsacks, etc. Forced to move several times during the war he ended up in Augusta the last year of the conflict. He made just over 2000 "colts" in 64/65. He was apparently located on the lower level of the Augusta Canal. Restoration is now underway along the canal and several revolver parts have been found. The last L & R for sale was very near 5 figures don't recall ever seeing an A & R on the market.
