Just about every State jumped the gun, you’ll find National flag with stars add by the person or person’s that had the 35 star flags.

Army reg’s call for two stands of colors, silk for parade and bunting for field service. During the war those reg’s were mostly over looked do to a flag supply problem but after the war it was corrected.

If the Mass. Governor hadn’t cut the budget and eliminated Steve Hill’s job some fifteen or so years ago, those flag would be in a lot better shape today.
