No known blocade runners entering Wilmington came from Cuba. They were all from either Bermuda or Nassau. If the flag was made in Cuba, it probably came through Mobile and along with other materials worked its way north by rail like the Selma Brooke Rifles in Charleston and the Hunley to name some of the more famous rail baggage.
