I have this book and the list of flags that were once there is amazing. many were "owned" by the home and many others were loaners thatw ere sent back to whence they came at some point.

The flag of the 8th VA Cavalry (ANV 7th Bunting, March, 1865 issue) was once owned by a descendant of someone who used to work at the home. He brought it to my house for examination and then we took it for display to the local CWRT meeting that night. He sold it later to a collector. Very nice flag with some field repairs on it as well as the dates of its issue on the hoist.
