Confederate Flags Captured At Vicksburg

Is there a list anywhere of the Confederate flags captured at Vicksburg? I am particularly interested in the flag of the 40TH Alabama Infantry Regt.

There are two flags for this regiment at the Alabama Archives, one that was certainly issued in 1864 at Dalton, Georgia. The other, with 15 stars on a St. Andrews cross with gold fringe, I suspect was the original flag from the spring of 1862. This particular flag was not captured at Vicksburg. It was either hidden from the Federals or was with the three companies that were detached shortly before the seige began. I doubt if it went with the 3 detached companies (AKA "Stone's Battalion") as both the colonel and lieutenant colonel and the remaining 7 companies remained in Vicksburg.

Another theory is that there was yet another flag that was in use at Vicksburg and the original, or "fancy flag" as I have seen it referenced as, was secreted while the other supposed flag was surrendered to satisfy the Federals. I am trying to determine if there was, in fact, another flag for this regiment or not. Any information would be appreciated!
