Just to let everyone know who's following this discussion, piecing togther Vicksburg captures will be tough! Last year I contacted the park historian at Vicksburg and he said that they have no information on the flags taken there. It really surprised me, and made me realize this is an important topic that needs more work. Just wanted to throw that out there, if you were hoping the park might be able to help, they really can't. Not to slam the park of course, they're glad to help in any way they can and might be able to point out or provide sources and guidance..... but there's no 'capture list'
