I will take the 22nd Iowa off as you pointed out. So now this has me curious to what five flags, Lt. General Pemberton claimed where captured. I have two of the 77th Illinois and two of the 99th Illinois. Maybe it might indeed be the 18th Indiana. I do know the Fourth West Virginia's flag was captured then recaptured by one of the Regular Infantry regiments. I will dig more into this, I am excited you have much knowledge on this subject!
