Does anyone have any idea what the flag of the 27th LA may have looked like? I'm researching the 28th (Thomas's) LA (sometimes referred to as the 29th LA) and from what I've discovered so far, the 26th, 27th and 28th were raised at about the same time and sent to Vicksburg almost immediately after finishing their school-of-the-soldier. It's possible their flags were similar in appearance. Any info regarding this would be greatly appreciated.
