The flag of the 27th La. saved at Vicksburg is a 13 star
first national. Ten stars in a circle with three within
that circle running from 11 o'clock to 4 o'clock.
The flag of the 26th La. captured at Vicksburg is now
housed by the Iowa Hist. Soc. It is also a first national
but, with an undetermined number of stars and pattern.
