Hi-- Rather than just throwing out unsubstantiated narratives, why don't you preface the material you are presenting and give some sort of attribution about its origin? You might have something valuable for an historian, but you fail to present your information in usable format. As for the casual reader... I had to look up Elkhorn Tavern in order to find out that the engagement happened in Arkansas, and that it is otherwise known as the Battle of Pea Ridge. Thanks--
