46th MS -- 3rd National -- Post-war?

A member of a Florida CW Roundtable recently contacted a member of the Florida Division/SCV and inquired about a 3rd National-pattern flag of the 46th MS Infantry.

I will attach a picture of the flag if someone will tell me how to!

The Roundtable member purchased the flag as authentic.

The flag measures 22" x 32".

It is a 3rd National, with a faded, sky-blue saltire and 13 white stars.

The purchaser thinks the flag may simply be a post-war reunion flag or maybe a flag made by a former member of the 46th MS for his own use.

He would like to have the comments of some of our flag experts regarding this flag.

The flag was purchased in NC several weeks ago.

The photos I have of the flag are not on the internet, so I don't know how to attach them here.

Thanks for any opinions/comments! -- Jim Huffman, Pound's Battalion, MS Sharpshooters
