Re: 46th MS -- 3rd National -- Post-war?

Saw one near identical to this one hanging in a frame in a relic store shop this past week.. the only difference was it was a 2nd National.. cant recall what unit it was suspose to be, but had the same style of battle credits on the white.. identical canton.. rather crudely stitched. Appeared to be cotton. Where holes and missing segments were the fabric fibers were equally frayed regardless where it was on the flag... many runs through the washing machine to help "age" and fade its appearance... Dont think the one I saw had a War Dept number on it...lol.. It was so badly attempted that I could only snicker at it..
