Dear Shawn I have contacted the Minnesota historical society and they know of only one of their regiment the 3rd that has lost their colors and that was at Murfressboro in july of 1862 when Forrests cavalry attacked. No one has seen the flags since and it is suspected they are in a private collection in Texas.
