That is true, the 3rd Minnesota along with the 9th Michigan (5 Companies) and 7th Pennsylvania Cavalry (2 Companies). Also Captain Hewett's Kentucky Battery "B" lost all of it's pieces (1-10 Pound Parrott) and (3-6 Pound Smoothbores).

I will also question Colonel Forrest (Promoted BG on July 21st, 1862) when he finished that battle and then rode to Murfreesboro and captured wagon-trains with "360" men of the Thirty-Sixth Indiana. Did they lose any flags? That looks like either the whole regiment or the majority.
