I am making a 5th Co WA Hardee pattern flag. Having not seen it in person, I have a question. Was the center disc sewn on one side of the blue field and then the blue field cut a way from the other? Or was a white disc sewn on both sides of the blue field? If the latter would be the case, was the blue field between the white disc's cut a way (as not to have the blue material "sandwiched" between the white disc? Any help would be greatful. I have just completed a reproduction of the 2nd Co WA flag that is in New Orleans and it turned out very nice.
