I have purchased a 17th Tennessee Regiment flag over the weekend. I would like to get more information on the flag and possibly date the flag. It is a traditional Hardee Blue Flag with the 17th TENN and cross cannons on the center circle. It measures about 30 inches x 20 inches. The edging of the flag has the major battles. On the top is Perryville and Corinth, the right side has Knoxville, the bottom is Murfreesboro and the left side has Chickamagua. The lettering looks to be stenciled or stamped. The stitching is definitely hand-stiched. Attached is a picture. I am in the Middle Tennessee area.
