Thanks, but most of that is directly from the written account of a veteran of the unit. I have only added a small amount that I have been able to track down. I have more information, but I don't want to copy it all since it comes from a written file from Massachusetts. I was able to obtain permission to use the images, but I never asked about the written file since that is theirs to share not mine.

The main notations I have made have to do with the identity of the flags. Massachusetts for some reason counts the flags in sequence starting with what was issued to the unit by the State/Commonwealth, not the first flag that was presented to the regiment by Gen. Butler on the Boston Common. Actually I think I know the reason, but it is/was a huge political mess with the formation of the New England Division. I have really only put the flags back into the sequence of issue (and the first from the State did not catch up with the regiment for a few months, and then was or sub par quality).
