The cool thing about this site is that folks do share even if they are well known or not. I have some 20 years of research into CS flags and if I am specific into any portion of these flags it is Georgia and Tennessee. Bob Bradley, who posts here, is THE man on Alabama flags; Tom Belton is the guy for North Carolina flags and Ken Legendre is the man for Louisiana flags. Yet all of them have also done some more general study of these flags as we all have.

One thing I enjoy about this list is that there's someone who has done some research into some state, some specific flag, etc. and is willing to share the findings here. These types are researchers are very valuable even if they have never published a single page. Putting it here is publishing and we all benefit.

I learned long ago that you can never know everything and I also learned to really appreciate those people who do the smaller aspects of research turning up those jewels that most of us have not yet found. I love that about this board.
