My GGrandfather was Sgt. J.D. Calaway of Co B. He was promoted for "meritorious conduct" after the seige of Sufolks, Va in which his brother Frank Calaway was killed. He was a pioneer doctor in Texas after the war. I've thought about having a 15th's flag made in his honor. He was wounded and captured at Gettysburg. He spent 15 months in Fort Delaware as a POW.
