I have a listing that the Eighth Tennessee Infantry Regiment captured a "Ohio National Flag" at the battle of Murfreesboro/Stones River. From the "Blue&Grey" magazine issue "Stones River" issue number "28" #6, Page 55. It "May" be possibly the "90th" Ohio Infantry regiment. That was the only Ohio infantry regiment in that area and very near the 8th Tenn.

As usual, I can only suggest. Tons of Union flags were captured, not many turned in to General Bragg's headquarters. I am working on that battle, Major-General Cleburne's Division alone, must have captured between 30-40 flags.
