New York State Military Museum has a huge flag that is the Marshall House flag. You can find it and its details on their web site. It has been souvenired but not as badly as the newspaper suggests.

Having said that, Fort Ward in Alexandria, VA has one of its large stars. Smaller pieces abound all over. I found one in the Lew Wallace Papers in the Indiana Historical Society. Wallace, colonel of the 11th Indiana Zouaves, knew Ellsworth quite well and Ellsworth sent him the piece.
