My ancestor was a Color Sergeant w/ 2nd Regiment Infantry, 4th Brigade Georgia Volunteers(later designated 19th Ga. Infantry) at Camp McDonald in 1861.
My question is what flag would have been in use by the Ga. State Troops [june-august 1861] prior to being put into CSA service?
