Mr. Newton's book is excellent and Walter Taylor's (Four Years with General Lee) is excellent. It is hard enough with many CSA and Union regiments at certain battles with their strength and losses are unknown. Chickamauga has many CSA regiments missing strength and losses. I have been getting lucky here and there finding some of the CSA regiments. A perfect example is Longstreet's regiments, a few have their strength and losses, while many others I'll have one but not the other.
