Dear Ms. Gannaway,

What type of information are you looking for; genealogy or military, etc.? Have you tried the Compiled Service Records for both his original regiment he was a member of and the General Officers, Staff, & Staff NCOs Compiled Service Records. I know he is mentioned numerous times in the "Official Records of the War of the Rebellion". You may also want to try the book "Confederate Commissary General: Lucius Bellinger Northrop and the Subsistence Bureau of the Southern Army." He will likely have letters and other documents signed by him spread out in other officers Compiled Service Records. The National Archives has numerous references to commissary records. One technique to narrow down your search in the Archives information will be to look in the book "The Confederacy: A Guide to the Archives of the Government of the Confederate States of America" by Henry Putney Beers. I reference him in an article entitled "Sustaining the Army of Tennessee in the Fall of 1863" that was published in the "Chattanooga Regional Historical Journal", December 2002.

I hope this helps.

Respectfully,
