Subsequent to our last correspondence, I discovered that Ross's Battery (Battery A of the 11th GA Artillery) was moved out of Fort Mahone on September 29, 1864 and repositioned at Batteries 40 and 42.

Patterson's battery (Battery B), however, remained at Battery 27 until it was over-run in the April 2nd assault.
