CSA in Georgia Hospitals

My husband's great-great grandfather, John Hunter-25th Tennessee Infantry CSA, was sent to an Atlanta, Georgia hospital according to his last muster. We have never been able to find out whether he died or where me may have been buried. The last record we have is from his Company's Muster Roll for Sept/Oct, 1863 has says he was absent from the roll and sent to "Hospital, Atlanta, GA Oct. 28, 1893 by order Surg. Jackson." Is there is "list" of CSA hospitals and or records for tha Atlanta, Georgia area? Based upon the information and dates of the 25th TN Regiement, we believe he was in the Chickamauga battle (at that time the 25th was consolidated with the 44th TN and also called Johnson's Brigade). What we know as facts is that John's two younger brothers were also in the 25th TN Infantry...William returned after the war and the youngest child of the family, Stephen, died Sept. 14, 1864 at the Elmira Prison Camp, NY. Thanks!
