Thanks for the reply Jerold. I certainly agree. Just because the record is not part of the NPS or some other database, doesn't rule out the possibility that someone served. As noted in my earlier notes, there is a guy out there that thinks he has that info. While much of what he has at this site fits the descendants of my John P Baggett, I want to confirm that we're talking about the same guy before assuming it is 100% correct.
