Andrew Carson Co. C 60th Georgia

Andrew Carson was wounded at battle of Wilderness May 5, 1864. He died in Gordonsville, Va. hospital same day. If he was buried in a cemetery, where would this be? He was a 2nd Lieut in the 60th Georgia Infantry Co C with Capt J. C. Wardlaw. Before the war Wardlaw was a wealthy merchant in Walker Co. Ga. with a wife, children and 10 slaves.

Andrew was a brother to Stephen Huff Carson who was with the 9th Georgia Co. G. Stephen was wounded several times but survived the war. In 1869 he moved to Wayne Co. Mo.
