Thanks to everyone who assisted me in obtaining an application to the Sons of Confederate Veterans. I finally obtained an application from the local chapter of the SCV and sent the completed application today (09/08/03)

I look forward with great pride to becoming a member of the organization. Hopefully as a group working together we can accomplish the goal of honoring and preserving the gallant and brave history of our Confederate and Union Ancestors.

I would like for it to have been possible for me to have joined the camps both from outside the State of Georgia and also camps located outside the georgraphical confines of Hartwell, Ga. Since I desire to be an active member it is much better for me to apply to join a local camp where I will be able to attend regularly.
