I live on the corner of Paulding (Dallas),Cobb (Kennesaw/Acworth), and Bartow (Allatoona)counties. I have breastworks within walking distance from my home. I have recovered what appears to be a homemade pair of coffee pot holders from the same. Below these breastworks, as you cross Pumpkinvine Creek, is a large field which would support at least a regiment of soldiers. My question is -- was this a Union or Confederate line, and is there an accurate map which would show the movements of the armies from Allatoona to New Hope. This land is also under danger of development.Any help with finding a map of operations, etc. in this area would be appreciated, as well as how to possibly save this land from a bulldozer
