Bennett O. Estes -- which unit?

This is an unsual name Bennett Oliver Estes -- so you'd think it would be easy. But no...

I have found in Confederate pension roll, 1890-1928, p.36 #11; ET, 1981, 2#2, the pension record (1895)for ESTES, Nancy; widow of Bennett O. Estes, enlisted 8/1863 in Co. B, 7th GA Regt. (Bennett was married to Nancy Ann Davis, on 10/3/44)

I have found Bennet O. Estes in Sailors and Soldiers as being in Co. F, 9th Reg. Georgia Militia. (Cemetery source says Co. A.) Enlisted 9/25/61, discharged disabled 5/10/62, then re-enlisted. In a later letter home to his wife, he wrote that the unit was changed to the 39th. I found him buried at Camp Chase Cemetery, having died 10/7/64 (ESTIS, B. O., PVT, died 7 OCT 1864, Co. A, 9th Reg. GA INF,Row 4, No. 2, Grave 284)

Is there any way to sort this out? Bennett was born 4/9/25.
