Hi....

Recently I found an ancestor James Monroe Dugger (1819-1878) who was in Pruden's Battery. He was a well know physician before and after the war so I assume that he was the Battery's doctor.

This unit is not mention much in the OR so I am at a loss to find out much about it. Any suggestions of where I can get a unit history would be appreciated or any other info on James.
