I have found a Frank Holman listed as part of Co. B, Local Troups Georgia Infantry in Ancestry.Com. He was a private at enlistment and at discharge. How can I find out where he enlisted at....what area of Georgia.

Another Frank Holman is part of Co 1, Symon's Georgia Reserve. Is that like the reserves of today...only called up when needed???
