I am looking for any information on the 16th Battalion (Calvary), Georgia Partisan Rangers. My GG Grandfather, Richard C. Ledford was attached to this unit and listed a RC Ledford. He was between 18 and 20 when he enlisted.

What commands was his unit attached to and also major engagements they fought in. I know the 16th formed most of the 13th Georgia Calvary Regiment when it was formed. Any info greatly appreciated.
