Thank for your inquiry. His service record that I have is simply J. D. Treadaway, but on some of the records that are on the Internet he is referred to as Joseph. I tend to believe that his name was Joel Diddimus Treadaway. I have not been able to find a Civil War muster roll with his name on it though I do have a couple of pay records. Can you help?
