Unfortunately the article did not specify which cemeteries the soldiers were buried in. I suspect that the large majority of them were buried in Greenwood Cemetery, with the others scattered in smaller cemeteries and on private land throughout Jackson. Hopefully there will be more evidence that turns up and sheds some light on the subject.
