Re: T. J. Pritchard, Co. F 36th Regt. Georgia Infa

Are you aware of a book titled "Champion Hill" by Timothy B. Smith? On page 366, Mr. Smith mentions our ancestor, Thomas J. Pritchard, his wounding during the battle while his company was in support of a battery, and how he was assisted by Yankee officers afterward. Pick up the book, the details as related are truly an Amazing Story.

The author gets his name wrong as J. T. Pritchard. But it is him.

Thomas John Pritchard was my G G Grandfather. His daughter Martha "Mattie" Grogan was my father's grandmother.
