We decided last weekend to re-visit the Civil War museum in Atlanta at Grant Park. I hadnt visited in about 10+ years. It was sort of a pep rally to our planned visit to Gettysburg in Sept. I wanted to have a fresh impression in my mind of the Battle of Atlanta cyclorama experience before seeing the newly re-furbished state of the art displays at the new Gettysburg visitor center.

I was very pleased and newly impressed with the museum artifacts, movie program, and twice around presentation of the Battle of Atlanta cyclorama and diorama. It is a great way to spend an afternoon if you havent been lately, and its only $8 a person. It is near downtown, next door to Zoo Atlanta.
