The source of this information on John Warren is noted below, either HDS transcribed incorrectly, or the Geo. Roster is incorrect:

John Warren Jackson

Enlisted on 2/28/1862 as a Private.
On 2/28/1862 he mustered into "D" Co. GA 35th Infantry
He died of disease on 4/13/1862 at Ashland, VA
Other Information:
Buried: Hollywood Cemetery, Richmond, VA

Enlisted on 3/4/1862 as a Private.
On 3/4/1862 he mustered into "F" Co. GA 48th Infantry
He died on 6/6/1864 at Richmond, VA

Buried: Hollywood Cemetery, Richmond, VA

Correct, John James does not appear in the CSRs in the 48th, but in the 45th Georgia, admitted with a gun shot wound, shell, to the right arm May 25, 1864 at Jericho Ford, Virginia, to the Jackson Hospital, Richmond, Virginia, died June 6, 1864 leaving a wife and two children. Such transcriptional errors abound in these and similar genealogical records.

Andrew J. Johnston, age 23, enlisted in Company B, 9th Battalion Georgia Artillery March 4, 1862 at Atlanta, Georgia, admitted to Jackson Hospital, Richmond, Virginia November 11, 1864, pneumonia, returned to duty December 6 as shown on two cards in his file, another card shows he was paid on December 5, 1864
