Thanks Alan. I had posted just a few minutes earlier that I had found "A. McKinney's marker" at Oak Hill in Prattville. It has his CSA service as Company F 40th Georgia Infantry. That works with my A.J. McKinney being born in GA in 1868 and also being buried at Oak Hill. A.G.'s record is under A.G. McKinnie. He enlisted at Douglas, GA and was wounded in an engagement near Vicksburg in January 1863. The record includes his Oath at Vicksburg. So far, I am not locating him in the 1860 census. Thanks, Barry.
