I am trying to confirm and receive additional information on the military service record of Jenkins James Drake, born 14 Dec 1823 and died 18 Jan 1866. He was from Decatur County, Ga. I found a J.J. Drake that was assigned to Capt Charles Campbell's Independent Co. GA Seige Artillery (Decatur County) in May 1863. I am trying confirm his assignment. I am also searching for the military record of his son William Henry Drake, born Mar 1846 and died 13 Dec 1931. Thanks, Barney
