Other Census reports indicate that she was born in N.C. Moving on: I have a copy of a marriage certificate that I found in the Georgia Archives where Mrs. Mary E. Witcher married Benjamin G. Neal in 1863. I can find nothing until Benjamin G. Neal dies as a married indigent at the Confederate Home in Edgewood Fulton County Georgia. Are there any records pertaining to the home.
