In William Scaife's book "The Georgia Brigade" (first edition 1988) he notes, "Few details of the action at Hatcher's Run are known, except Major Benjamin Grace of the 26th Regiment and Captain R.H. Fletcher of the 31st Regiment were killed and Colonel Stephen H. Kennedy of the 61st Regiment and Captain Benjamin S. Boatright of the 12th Battalion were wounded."
