You have given me a bit more info than I had. I would like to know if, when a man volunteered did his inlistment papers list contact info in case of death and if John W. Harrell listed anyone. I cannot seem to find his parents, at least not for sure. I feel that if contacts were listed that it would have been at least a relative if not his parents. He came from La. to register in Georgia to fight as this was where his parents were. Any further info you could give me would be appreciated especially any info on where I might attain more info.
