Re: Linton Acree/Acrey 11th Regt

According to the small booklet titled List of Confederate Soldiers, Interred in Soldiers’ Lots, Laurel Grove (North) Cemetery, Savannah, Georgia (printed in 1874), a soldier identified as L. Acra of the 30th Georgia Regiment with 1 Feb 1865 as his date of death, is buried in Grave 11 of Lot 889 there. Even though his last name is not spelled correctly and he is listed as being in the 30th Georgia Regiment instead of the 30th Battalion or 11th Regiment Georgia Cavalry, I am sure this is your ancestor. I also had an ancestor in company A of this battalion/regiment.
