Re: George Page 19th Ga or 27th Ga?

There was no George Page in the 27th. The two with that surname were John M. and William H.

George Page, Private, Captain Hunter's Company D, 19th Georgia Infantry, enlisted June 13, 1862, died July 11, 1862, left neither wife nor children, his father, William Page, Coweta County, filed claim for his pay, allowances and effects, his file contains correspondence between the War Department and Pension Commissioner of Georgia dated October 22, 1917
