I am unable to locate a J/Jone/Newton Nix/Nixes/Nick/Nicks, etc. Nor a Findley's Brigade.

There was a Finley's Florida Brigade, a BGen. Jesse J. Finley and a General Findley, C. S. Army, commanding in Lumpkin County.

I checked the rosters for the Florida infantry regiments in Finley's brigade, no joy. I find no further information on the other two.
