Herb,
Also a Cpl. John H.J. Brock of Co. E, Thomas County Rangers, 50th GA INF. He was wounded during the assault of Ft. Sanders on 11/29/63, and later captured near Knoxville, TN on 2/21/64. He died of typhoid fever at Camp Chase, OH on 1/5/65, and is buried at Camp Chase in Grave #713. His widow filed for a Confederate Service Pension in Lafayette County, FL in 1900. Probably not your John Brock, but thought I would pass it on.
