In the online Biographies from Memoirs of Georgia (Meriwether County), mention is made of J. C. Norris of Company B, 13th Georgia as having served at Fredericksburg. Same source, Terrell County, has a lengthy background on Matthew Marshall of Company H, which states that he was also at Fredericksburg. An online biography of Clement Evans (www.georgiaencyclopedia.org) mentions that he decided to enter the ministry after the war upon surveying the carnage at Fredericksburg.
