Hello George: I think I have conferred with you before. I am trying to locate the gravesite of John B. York (J. B. York) at Oakwood Cemetery in Richmond, Va. He was in the 24th Georgia Regiment Company E (Volunteers- Infantry) I have talked with a M. Gorman who is writing a book on Chimborazo Hospital, and also researches the cemetery. He is saying that gravesites 14-15-16 there is a John buried there; however, records show that he was in the 50th Georgia Regiment. He says the records are not precise at all that they are all mixed up. Could you add any clarification on this or obtain any concrete information on his burial site? I would be very appreciative.
